STCP is launching a new project today aimed at primary schools, to promote literacy about public transport and bring younger children closer to the service operated by the company in the Porto Metropolitan Area.

Meet Lina here

“Playing on Board with Lina” is the name of the initiative that, in its first phase, will tour schools in the city of Porto, taking Lina, the new STCP mascot, on a journey where learning is as important as playing.
Lina is a ladybug, the symbol of the project, representing curiosity, adventure, and the desire to explore new paths, challenging students to join in the discovery of the STCP universe. Through games and interactive activities, children are invited to learn about the bus network, how to use it, and understand the essential rules for traveling safely on public transport.
The program, designed to promote dynamic and participatory interaction between students, teachers, and the educational community, is integrated into STCP's social responsibility strategy, where the goal is to spark an early interest in public transportation, promoting conscious choices that contribute to an inclusive city and generations better prepared for the future.

Registration for schools is now open, and the project officially starts in April. All information about the initiative and the registration form are available on the STCP website.
