Objective: This operation aims to optimize and improve the efficiency of the main management and contact processes for customers (also referred to as beneficiaries) of public transport (TPC) in the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP), through synergies with other public services and with the support of management tools to be developed, which will take advantage, whenever possible, of common and interoperable technological infrastructures, with a high impact on reducing context costs and promoting/increasing the use of public services, namely public transport.
Description: The Operation comprises 4 activities:
• Reengineering of the customer management process(es) – includes the development of tasks associated with adaptation and implementation to the General Data Protection Regulation
• Implementation and validation of management/ICT tools that will allow the optimization of the processes to be intervened – through the development of the Portal for submission and validation of beneficiary qualification documents, the issuance of simplified invoices with NIF in automatic vending machines and the implementation of a dematerialized solution for issuing and managing notices.
• Implementation and validation of the Business Intelligence solution.
• Promotion and dissemination of the operation.
Partnership: This operation was submitted in partnership between the three beneficiary entities (TIP/MP/STCP). The tasks related to qualifying beneficiaries and issuing simplified invoices with NIF are exclusively assigned to TIP.
The qualification of beneficiaries is in the implementation phase at the University of Porto schools, as shown in the images presented.
The last one, relating to invoices, is already implemented and duly certified, in the process optimization phase.
The implementation of a solution regarding the news reports is a task shared between the MP and STCP, with the remaining tasks being distributed among all beneficiary entities.
