Starting next Monday, January 12th, Line 900 will reach further. The new route will be extended, directly connecting the city of Porto and the Vila Nova de Gaia seafront.

The Line 900 service, which previously terminated in Santo Ovídio, now extends to Francelos, reinforcing STCP's presence in the municipality.

With this operational adjustment, passengers will now enjoy a direct, transfer-free connection between the Cordoaria area and Francelos. This extension not only ensures greater convenience for daily commutes, but also reinforces the connection between the historic center of Porto and the coastal area of Vila Nova de Gaia.

As part of the continuous improvement strategy for the STCP network, the new Line 900 will cover the route previously served by Line ZF, resulting in the elimination of the latter. This operational restructuring allows for the expansion of the 900 line with the addition of more than 30 stops along the route, optimizing the response to mobility needs in the municipalities served.

More schedules and weekend service

The main advantage for users of the former ZF line (which connected Valadares Station to Francelos) is the increased availability of the service, which will now also operate on weekends. week.

In addition, passengers from Francelos will now enjoy a direct connection to the center of Porto, without the need for transfers, and in the opposite direction, those departing from Porto now have a faster and simpler way to reach the beaches of Gaia.
