STCP provides an alternative transport option to the metro between Campo 24 de Agosto and Senhora da Hora.

STCP will provide a special bus service between Campo 24 de Agosto and Senhora da Hora on September 12th and 13th, offering an alternative for passengers affected by the interruption of Metro do Porto service on this section.

The suspension is scheduled between 10:00 PM on Saturday the 12th and 12:00 PM on Sunday the 13th, due to track maintenance work. The alternative service will be provided by high-capacity articulated buses , with stops near metro stations along the route.

Schedules and frequencies
On the night of Saturday to Sunday, the service will begin at 9:30 PM on the 12th, continuing until 1:30 AM on the 13th:

• From 9:30 PM to 12:45 AM : buses every 7 minutes.
• From 00:45 to 01:30 : buses every 10 minutes.

On Sunday morning, the 13th, the service will operate during the following periods:

• From 6:00 AM to 9:25 AM : buses every 10 minutes.
• From 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM (or until metro service resumes): buses every 7 minutes.

No need to validate transport ticket

The use of this special service does not imply any additional payment nor does it require validation of the travel ticket . There will be no sale of onboard tickets.
With this operation, carried out in coordination with Metro do Porto, STCP ensures the continuity of passenger journeys during the intervention.
