STCP reinforces mobility for the White Night in Gondomar

The White Night returns to Gondomar this Saturday, September 5th. To accommodate the thousands of visitors expected, STCP is once again partnering as an official transport provider, ensuring a special mobility plan and enhanced services.

With the aim of providing a safe, economical and fast alternative, STCP will increase the capacity of the lines serving the vicinity of the festival, throughout Saturday afternoon and during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Reinforcement of STCP operation

The special service focuses on reinforcing Line 800 (Bolhão–Gondomar), which ensures a direct connection between the center of Porto and Gondomar:

• Articulated buses throughout Saturday afternoon and into the early hours of Sunday morning, ensuring greater transport capacity.
• From 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM: frequency of approximately 10 minutes in the direction of Corujeira → Gondomar.
• From 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM: 15-minute frequency in the direction of Gondomar → Bolhão;

Also, Line 9M (Aliados – Gondomar, via TIC) will have reinforced service:

• From 00:30 to 06:00, in the direction of Gondomar → Aliados.

STCP will have an onboard ticket sales point at the boarding location to facilitate passengers' return home.

Due to traffic restrictions in the center of Gondomar, both lines will start and end next to the Gondomar Urban Park, with temporary stops next to the Rotary roundabout, next to the Cycling Center roundabout, and near Mercadona.

With this special plan, STCP invites you to leave your car at home and enjoy Gondomar's White Night in peace, without worrying about traffic or parking.
