STCP will adopt "summer" schedules starting next weekend.

With the arrival of summer and the end of the school term, there is a significant increase in demand for bus lines serving the beach areas of Porto, Matosinhos, and Vila Nova de Gaia, while ridership decreases on lines with routes near schools. In this regard, starting Saturday with the implementation of the "summer/school holidays" timetable, the following is observed:

• The extension of line 200 (Bolhão-Castelo Queijo) to Praça Cidade do Salvador (Anémona roundabout);
• Increased weekend bus service on lines 205 (Campanhã-Castelo do Queijo) and 906 (Trindade - Madalena).

Since the end of March, STCP has been reinforcing some of its lines, notably line 500, with increased service frequency, and line 1 of the electric tram, with extended hours.
