STCP begins operating BRT service on February 28th

This new operation will be guaranteed by STCP, which already has 21 drivers trained to drive the new vehicles dedicated to this service. The experimental phase will allow testing the operation in a real-world context, frequencies, and demand levels.

Along a route of approximately four kilometers, the BRT will strengthen the connection between residential, cultural, and business centers, making stops at the Casa da Música, Guerra Junqueiro, Bessa, Pinheiro Manso, Serralves, João de Barros, and Praça do Império stations.
