Educational Project

Throughout November, the "Playing on Board with Lina" project will visit several schools in the municipalities served by STCP.

Around 2,300 children will participate, during the month of November , in the educational project “Playing on Board with Lina”, by STCP. Through playful and interactive activities, they will have the opportunity to meet Lina, learn the main safety rules on board and discover more about the transport network in which STCP operates.

Launched in April, the project brings younger generations closer to the world of public transport, encouraging conscious and responsible use. Several schools in the municipalities served by STCP have already joined the initiative and will receive a visit from Lina throughout this month.

Primarily aimed at first-cycle primary school classes, “Playing Aboard with Lina” is also available for preschool groups, with content and activities adapted to the age of the participants.

In addition to school visits, Lina has been present at cultural and awareness events, bringing the message of mobility to younger generations. Examples include Serralves em Festa, the European Mobility Week in Maia, and the Comida Continente Festival.

With this project, STCP reinforces its commitment to mobility education , helping to create more conscious and informed passengers and promoting, from an early age, habits of safe and responsible use of public transport.
