As the summer holidays approach and we return to our normal routines, STCP – Porto Public Transport Company is adjusting its operations from the beginning of next month. This change marks the beginning of the new school year and adjusts the public transportation offerings in light of the increased demand expected in the coming weeks.
As of September 1st, the “school holidays/summer” timetable comes into effect, meaning an increase in frequency on several bus lines compared to the timetables in effect in August.
The following week, starting September 8th, STCP operations will resume their “normal” timetable, with increased frequency on most lines, particularly around the opening and closing times of schools. teaching.
In addition to this adjustment in operation, with the entry into force of the "normal" timetable, the reinforcements of the access lines to the beaches will end, namely:
Line 200 (Bolhão–Pç. Cidade Salvador): the terminus returns to Castelo do Queijo;
Line 203 (Marquês–Pç. Cidade Salvador): the terminus returns to Castelo do Queijo;
Lines 205 (Campanhã-Castelo Queijo) and 906 (Trindade-Madalena) end the reinforcement of trips on Saturdays and Sundays.
Line ZF (Francelos–Valadares station) returns to running exclusively on weekdays. useful.
