STCP reinforces its role as a mobility partner in the major events of June.
As part of its strategy to increase service during peak demand periods, STCP ended the month of June with a positive assessment of the special operations carried out for three of the city's biggest events: São João night, Primavera Sound Porto and Air Invictus.
The success of these operations resulted from the work developed in conjunction with the event organizers and municipal entities, allowing for the planning of an offer tailored to demand, reinforcing the quality of service and ensuring effective communication with passengers.
More passengers on the city's biggest night
On the night of Saint John's Day, between 9:00 PM on June 23rd and 8:00 AM on June 24th, more than 21,000 passengers traveled on the STCP network, representing a 3.67% increase in demand compared to the same period last year.
The enhanced operation allowed us to respond to the increased influx of passengers, providing safe and comfortable transportation during one of the busiest nights of the year.

During the four days of Primavera Sound Porto, STCP reinforced its regular service and made two special lines available to ensure the public's return after the concerts.
In total, around 74,000 passengers used the STCP network for travel to and from the festival, representing a 17% increase in demand across the entire network during the event.
Strong public participation and STCP's operational responsiveness confirm that public transport is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for traveling to major events.
These results reinforce the company's commitment to continue developing mobility solutions that contribute to a better passenger experience and the success of events in the region.
