STCP reinforces operations during Queima das Fitas with free shuttle service and larger capacity vehicles

After transporting around 90,000 students during the Queima das Fitas festival last year alone, the company is once again preparing a special operation to ensure enhanced mobility, with a free shuttle service to the Queimódromo and reinforcement of regular bus lines.

Free shuttle service with direct connection to the venue every night and early morning.

To facilitate access for thousands of students, STCP provides two special shuttle lines, with a completely free round-trip service (without intermediate stops) from two main points:

• Trinity
• St. John's Hospital

Transportation to the venue is guaranteed every day between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM, and return transportation between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM, with a minimum frequency of 15 minutes.

Reinforcement of regular lines 200 and 205

Line 200 (Bolhão – Castelo do Queijo):
• From 8:00 PM the line is extended to the Anémona roundabout;
• From 1:30 am, the operation takes place in conjunction with Line 1M, with a frequency of 30 minutes;
• The operation is reinforced starting at 5:50 AM every day.

Line 205 (Campanhã – Castelo do Queijo):
• Reinforcement between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, towards the venue, with a frequency of 15 minutes;
• During the early morning hours, the route between Areosa and Anémona operates with trains passing every 20 minutes;
• After 4:00 AM, service is reinforced in the direction of Anémona - Areosa.

To meet the high number of passengers, both the shuttle services and lines 200 and 205 will be provided with vehicles of greater capacity.

Direct connection to the Queimódromo without worries.

The shuttle service is completely free. The following tickets are valid on all other STCP lines:
• Andante pass or occasional trips that include the zones to be used;
• Onboard Ticket Fare (€2.50): available on buses, payable in cash, MB WAY or contactless card.
