MEO Marés features a special, free transport service provided by STCP.

STCP has prepared a special transport operation for MEO Marés 2026, which will take place, for the first time, at Praia do Aterro, in Leça da Palmeira (Matosinhos), between July 17 and 19. The operation includes two free shuttle lines that ensure a direct connection between different points in the city of Porto and Matosinhos and the festival grounds.
Maintaining its mobility partnership with Via Verde, STCP is providing this free shuttle service, complementing the regular network offerings, encouraging the use of public transport and contributing to more efficient mobility during one of the largest music festivals in the Northern region.

During the three days of the festival, two shuttle lines will be available: a direct connection between the center of Porto and the festival grounds, and a circular line that provides transportation from the park area in Matosinhos.

- 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM: 10-minute frequency, in the direction of Aliados → Festival
- 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM: 20-minute frequency, in the direction of Festival → Aliados
- 24:00 – 3:00: frequency of 8 minutes, in the direction Festival → Aliados
- 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, in the Festival direction
- 23:00 – 3:00, towards Parques
- Approximate frequency of 8 minutes
- Stops: Infanta D. Mafalda, Arq. Fernando Távora, Mar Shopping, Leça Futebol Clube, Francisco Maia, Rotunda Exponor, Farol, Praia do Aterro.
In addition to the free shuttle service, line 508 is also an alternative to the regular network for accessing the venue. Passengers who choose this line should get off at the "Cabo do Mundo" stop, located a 7-minute walk from the festival entrance.
With this special operation, STCP and Via Verde reinforce their commitment to the use of public transport, providing a convenient, fast and sustainable alternative for accessing MEO Marés, one of the biggest music festivals in the North region.
