Starting Monday, September 1st, "school vacation/summer" hours will be in effect. "Normal" hours will return on September 8th.
As the summer holidays approach and we return to our daily routines, STCP – Porto Public Transport Company (Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto) is adjusting its operations starting at the beginning of next month. This change marks the start of the new school year and adjusts public transportation services based on the expected increase in demand in the coming weeks.
From September 1st, the “school/summer holiday” timetable comes into effect, which means an increase in frequency on several bus routes compared to the timetables applied in August.
The following week, starting on September 8, STCP operations will resume their “normal” schedule, with most lines being increased in terms of frequency, particularly around the opening and closing times of educational establishments.
Alongside this adjustment in operations, with the entry into force of the "normal" timetable, reinforcements to the beach access lines will end, namely:
Line 200 (Bolhão–Salvador City Square): the terminus returns to Castelo do Queijo;
Line 203 (Marquês–Pç. Cidade Salvador): the terminus returns to Castelo do Queijo;
Lines 205 (Campanhã-Castelo Queijo) and 906 (Trindade-Madalena) end the reinforcement of trips on Saturdays and Sundays.
The ZF Line (Francelos–Valadares station) returns to operating exclusively on weekdays.
