Tram Parade

STCP presents a positive interim assessment of its special operation for the Queima das Fitas 2026. As the official transport provider for the event, the company has already transported more than 60,000 passengers (provisional data) since May 2nd, consolidating public transport as the preferred choice for students.

On April 17th, STCP launched the educational project "Playing on Board with Lina". The initiative is touring various primary schools in the city of Porto and has already involved around 500 students.

Between May 2nd and 9th, STCP will once again partner with the Academic Federation of Porto (FAP) to cover the biggest academic week in the country.

On the first Saturday of May, the 2nd, the Porto waterfront will once again host one of the city's most traditional events: the Electric Tram Parade, which this year has the theme "The Tram and the People".

Following the international public tender launched on July 30th for the acquisition of 50 articulated vehicles (plus 10 optional) for passenger transport, STCP informs that the award to the proposal submitted by the competitor UBSI Europa was published this Friday on the Vortal Platform.

A joint initiative by Transportes Metropolitanos do Porto, STCP, Metro do Porto and Andante will take place at Trindade Station, offering free trips.
