After an initial period of adaptation to the start of the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), STCP is beginning a new phase of reorganizing its network. Starting March 9th, operations will be aligned with the BRT system, aiming to strengthen intermodality and ensure faster and more reliable connections for passengers.
STCP will begin, next Saturday, February 28th, the experimental operation of the new BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) service, which will connect Casa da Música and Praça do Império.
STCP informs that, following a meeting held with STRUN – Sindicato dos Trabalhadores de Transportes Rodoviários e Urbanos do Norte (Union of Road and Urban Transport Workers of the North), it was agreed to suspend the strike that affected the last two hours of each worker's daily shift, in effect since November 8, 2023.
One month after the start of operations on the new Line 900 (Cordoaria – Francelos), STCP has already transported 30,000 passengers, consolidating this connection as a strategic investment in strengthening the transport network of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
Between February 16th and 18th , bus service will be adjusted. These changes aim to ensure adequate service to meet passenger demand during the Carnival festivities, a period that coincides with the school break.
STCP informs that the new composition of its Board of Directors has been appointed.
