Christmas Electric Train celebrates gatherings and traditions around the table.

The Christmas Tram returns to Porto from December 3rd, once again bringing the light, sharing, and traditions experienced at the table to the city streets. The historic vehicle will run on line 1 (Infante – Passeio Alegre) on weekdays and on line 18 (Clérigos – Passeio Alegre) on weekends until January 6th, 2026.

STCP guarantees more buses for the lighting inauguration in Porto.

This Saturday, November 29th, the city of Porto will once again be illuminated with the inauguration of the Christmas lights. The celebrations begin in Praça do General Humberto Delgado with the Christmas tree, accompanied by a videomapping show with the theme "Mission Nutcrackers, Christmas Arrives in the City" and a concert by the artist Mariza.

“Some journeys are worth an entire film” is the motto of the new partnership between STCP and Porto/Post/Doc: Film & Media Festival. Until November 29th, some of the company's buses will have special hangers offering passengers a double ticket to a film screening at the Festival.

Following an administrative challenge filed by a competitor that led to the annulment of the award to UBSI Europa, STCP is relaunching an international public tender for the acquisition of 50 articulated buses, powered by natural gas or biomethane, with the option to purchase 10 more vehicles.
